    Empty Room;
    Shattered dreams, they came via moonbeams, back in the day, they let us out to play, like lunatics we raved until dawn, anything of value went to the pawn, it wasn’t a dance, it was a trance,
    The pumping rhythm set you free, it wasn’t just me, but the entire room, boom boom boom, giving them drugs, you would have to have seen the thugs,
    Love was the answer hugs and kisses all around, all in sync with the sound, the rhythm of the night, it all was such a sight,

    That was then but this is now, the room is empty, tales of woe are all a plenty,
    But I have a smile on my face, because my dream I will forever chase,
    At this stage there’s nothing left but my brush and my paint,
    Maybe someday I’ll be a saint!!!!!!

    Anthony Mc Gann.
