    I have a statue of a crested Grebe beside my pond in the garden and decided to try and paint it , I tried unsucessfully for a couple of weeks, so i just hit a canvas useing my own style and managed to capture the spirit of this fantastic bird , it lives on freshwater lakes has the most beautiful mating dance and carries its young around on its back, I love a lot of birds but this bird holds a special place for me.
