As I always paint my experiences day to day, this turned out to be a good one, I wouldn’t call it a still life because it was anything but, I bought some peaches down the super and brought them home, took them out of there wrapping and placed them in a dish and then ” Whack” as I always have a couple of canvases to spare straight onto the easel with the biggest one and GO, it took four days in all as the fruit would not sit still and the perspective of the space from my viewpoint gave me a nice challenge, this is the result and I like it because now and again you hit the nail on the head and I definitely nailed this one as every time I look at it brings me back to that lovely summers day.
