In 1994 I applied to stay in the artists retreat in newbliss co Monaghan, The Tyrone Guthrie centre, and was happy to recieve an invitation to stay there for three weeks, A fantastic experience my first chance to meet other artists, and a chance for me to focus fully on what i was doing at the time, on a pamphlet describeing the centre there was a painting by an artist called brian cronin, this is my version and it sums up what its like to stay there ( Living like a Lord )
