This painting is interesting, it is based on a sketch I did of a modal in the art class in Ard Gillan , I attended and enjoyed it immensely, It brought me back to Art collage where sketching a pose in twenty minutes was the goal it had to meet with the tutors approval in my case Gary Coyle, he was amazing and I have to thank him, for what he taught me has held me in good stead over the years, I wish I could go the class again but I can’t seem to get around to it, I like being on my own, maybe it will just happen as always it seems to do, anyway the painting was created on a summers day and I was in good cheer, but the painting as always goes deep, so deep into my sub-conscious that it is part of what I enjoy about painting, what is going on in there?? and what do I do in order to take the next step forward, what is self trying to say to me…..
